I think my mother is a hard worker. Of course she does the housework for my family and she studies English for herself everyday. She goes to English lessons twice a week. One is a lesson for the Eiken test, the other is watching video to improve English. In my house, she listens to an English conversation program on the radio during dinner. She tells me that I should listen to it, too, but I have not done so recently. After dinner I enjoy watching television but she does her homework. She asks me if I know the meaning of a word. I often hate this but it makes me study English harder. We often teach each other. She is sympathetic to what I want to do. After this college, I want to go on to another university. When I told her so, she said I could either go on to another university or study abroad. I think I am happy, and that I should think harder of what I want to do. I respect my mother but I never say so. I should have her show me how to cook and want to be a mother like my mother. |
