I have respect for my mother by Miho Tomisawa	I have respect for my mother. There are three people in my family. Mother, my younger sister and I. My father has been dead for seven years. Mother has brought us up by herself since he died. I thought I should help her but we sometimes had much quarrel in my adolescence. When I had something which I wanted, she often meddled in my affairs. I thought she has always been strict to me. In my childhood, she often taught me studies. When I made an easy mistake, she hit me. She is clever so she does everything almost perfectly but I do not. I was afraid of her. My mother is short-tempered and so am I. I take after her character so I sometimes agree with her. As I have physically and mentally grown, I have often agreed more with her than the past. She is bright. We often enjoy joking. She is strict, gentle and bright depending on situations. She has worked hard for our life. Now I like and respect my mother. I think we must get along well together.
